El Mago

$28.00

After many months of research, visual documentation, and conversation, uoqaus presents their first zine: El Mago.

Through eight printed images, El Mago follows the path taken by uoqaus through the universe. Through questions of faith and being, uoqaus uses Salvadoran imagery and identity to tell this short tale.

Made in collaboration with our friends in Chicago Tyler and Louisa of Kiosk, a gallery and gathering space.

A special thank you to my dear friend Evan Anderson for capturing photos of myself to work with in this zine.

The images and preface are bound together by native Mexican cotton string that was hand spun by Donde Clara in Mexico City.
